BWORM

Browser-based multiplayer arena

BWORM turns growth into strategy.

BWORM is a free online multiplayer worm arena built for the browser. Enter a living map, collect food, grow from a small creature into a dominant presence, and survive encounters where positioning matters as much as speed.

What is BWORM?

A competitive worm game with an authored identity.

BWORM combines the immediate readability of an online worm arena with distinct organic species, strategic mutations and an environment that visibly reacts to movement. It runs directly in a modern web browser, with no installation required.

How the game works

Collect, grow, outmaneuver and survive.

Build mass

Collect food distributed across the arena to increase score, body length and presence on the map.

Control momentum

Steer through crowded routes, use boost when the opening matters, and manage the mass cost attached to acceleration.

Read collisions

Avoid exposing the head, use the body to influence routes, and turn positioning into pressure against other players.

Climb the ranking

Growth and survival move players through the live ranking while larger bodies create new tactical risks.

Choose a species

Ten enabled species use distinct anatomy, materials, silhouettes and boost identities rather than simple palette swaps.

Compete online

BWORM is structured as a multiplayer arena where movement, growth and competitive state are governed by the game systems.

Combat Mode · Beta

Segmented armor and six weapon families.

Combat Mode is BWORM’s alternate ruleset. Each worm’s armor is divided into damageable zones: a hit damages the contacted armor zone first, and once that zone breaks, later hits can reach the body beneath it. The mode has six enabled loadouts, each pairing armor with a distinct weapon type.

HELIOS

Laser weapon.

THERMION

Thermal weapon.

AEGIS PLASMA

Plasma weapon.

VOLT LEVIATHAN

Bioelectric weapon.

TITAN

Railgun.

SCARAB

Physical spine bursts.

Mutations

Four archetypes, twelve active choices.

Mutations change concrete attributes such as boost speed and cost, collection range, body width, zone pressure, collision control and braking. Each archetype supports a different way to approach the arena.

Predator

Built for pursuit, marked targets and rewards that chain one elimination into the next.

  • Predatory Momentum
  • Prey Mark
  • Hunter’s Feast

Colossal

Prioritizes mass, collection reach, body presence and growth advantages tied to ranking.

  • Insatiable Hunger
  • Titanic Body
  • Giant’s Weight

Electric

Applies visible proximity pressure, slows nearby rivals and rewards controlled near-collision play.

  • Static Shock
  • Overload
  • Voltaic Arc

Phantom

Reduces mobility costs and strengthens escape tools, trading direct offensive presence for survival.

  • Spectral Skin
  • Phantom Reflex
  • Midnight Veil

The map

A 16,384 × 16,384-unit organic arena.

The map is authored in world space, so exploration reveals different regions instead of moving a decorative backdrop with the camera.

  • Reactive black water. Moving bodies disturb the dark surface with wakes while falling droplets generate contained circular ripples.
  • Reactive foliage. Large leaves and branches respond to nearby passage, then settle back through damped motion.
  • Environmental scale. A colossal background creature follows authored routes and interacts visually with water and vegetation.
  • Persistent world space. Environmental layouts remain anchored to the arena as the player and camera travel.
